What is SEAL?
South Essex Amiga Link is (surprise, surprise) an Amiga user group based in
South Essex, England. SEAL was formed in April 1998 by Mick Sutton, who has been
working very hard as the group's chairman ever since! Over the years since its formation,
SEAL has become one of the most active and best known Amiga groups in the UK.
What Do We Do?
SEAL meets on the second Friday of each month at our regular venue in Wickford
(an easy drive from Basildon and Southend and easily accesible from most areas
of Essex), at meetings we often have tutorials and demonstrations and there is
always someone on hand to help with those tricky software and hardware problems.
Many SEAL members also meet socially between meetings and are happy to offer
help and advice whenever the need arises.
You can find the dates and topics of forthcoming SEAL meetings on the
meetings page. We also have detailed directions to
help you get to our venue and reports
on recent meetings.
In addition to regular meetings SEAL publishes its own quaterly Amiga magazine,
Total Amiga, for members and Amiga users world wide.
We have helped to organise and support many Amiga related events country wide including various
AmigaOS 4 demonstrations and the World of Amiga South East shows which we hold in Brentwood, Essex.
Mac Section
SEAL now also has a section known as South Essex Apple Link supporting
Apple Mac computer users in our area. For more details on our Mac activities please visit:
